JOB SUMMARY: Accountable and responsible for the establishment & execution of the Supply Chain strategy for all commodities utilized in the TTM Assembly business associated with all components populated on a PCB to support our 5 PCBA sites in North America. Responsible to work very closely with the PCB Supply Chain Manager and the sites, to develop effective strategies to manage predominantly OEM directed sourced components supporting A&D business and drive efficiencies in all major SCM KPI's ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Inventory Management
  • Implement Consignment/Vendor Managed/JIT agreements with preferred suppliers
  • Collaborate with category team to develop JIT then alternatively Consignment/VMI agreements where advantageous
  • Develop / manage best practices associated with Min/Max
  • Develop and implement methodologies for inventory redistribution particularly JIT
  • Cost Management
  • Implement CM strategic cost objectives with Preferred and Class B and C BOM (Non PCB manufacturer) North American Regional Suppliers
  • Collaborate with Site Procurement Team to lead negotiations with North American Regional suppliers, with a focus on cost, quality, service, and ROIC
  • Collaborate with GSCM and drive additional cost reduction targets through regular negotiation and alternative material evaluation.
  • Supplier Management
  • Implement GCM strategic objectives with emerging and Preferred Suppliers, with focus on service (on time delivery), quality, and technical support
  • Collaborate with Site Procurement Leads to focus on service, quality, and technical support with North American Regional suppliers and distributors
  • Work closely with corresponding internal stakeholders in development of, and understanding of, sales forecast; sourcing requirements and production demand to ensure minimum production disruption
  • Drive consolidation of supply chain with focus on economies of scale as TTM grows and expands, and improves leverage with supply base
  • Contract Management
  • Collaborate with GCM team to negotiate and close key supplier contracts inclusive of Supplier Assurance, partnership, joint development and regulatory
  • Develop, manage and enhance supply chain strategies and contractual coverage with all Class of BOM (Non PCB manufacturing) suppliers, i.e. A, B and C
  • Operation Management
  • Provide supervisory oversight to ensure ethics and TTM Code of Conduct are adhered.
  • Develop strong & professional working relationship with plant General Managers to ensure seamless collaboration between SCM, Operations and Engineering.
  • Support enforcement of TTM environmental policy with suppliers
  • Support development of a strong supply chain management team by mentoring and developing key personnel, inclusive of succession planning
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 12 years of strategic sourcing and supply chain management experience in multi-national electronic manufacturing companies; prior working experience in PCBA industry would is mandatory.
  • Must have working knowledge of BOM component commodities for PCB Assembly commodities, including executive level relationships within the major suppliers.
  • Commodity expertise in Electronic, Mechanical and/or Electro-Mechanical commodities, including but not limited to passives, IC's, Interconnect components and distribution
  • Proficient in supplier relationship management, supplier development, and supplier risk management
  • Adept in total cost management, cost modeling and should-cost analysis
  • Collaborative mindset with effective people management and organization skills
  • Effective communication skills, team facilitation and influencing skills in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrate strong leadership principles and competencies
  • Proficient business and data analysis skills and familiarity with MRP and ERP tools (Oracle, JD Edwards, Paradigm etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering degree preferred with multiple years in a supply chain management role.
  • Supply Chain Certification preferred
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
