Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company The Project Engineer II will coordinate technical activities on assigned projects by leading projects and directing the work of others with the goal of premier customer satisfaction. This role will also plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate assigned engineering work by performing the work personally or in conjunction with project team members. The PE II will also be responsible to transform hand drawings to submittals using MS Visio or Cad for submittal acceptance. This PE will be responsible to manage the local inventory of components and controllers. The role will also be responsible and accountable for communication, coordination, and completion of project within a specific timeline and budget. What you will do: Ensure financial integrity of selling transactions is intact. Responsible for overall customer satisfaction by ensuring what was sold is communicated and fulfilled. Ensure limits of authority are followed throughout the fulfillment process. Serve as the liaison between the customer, sales team and factories. Determine project timelines, ship dates and project costs Responsible for process of job costing to invoicing. Assist the sales team with technical expertise in the selection/application of standard or modified products. Create professional, high grade sales proposals from RFP/RFI from clients for Daikin. Provide prompt, accurate responses to sales inquiries regarding special applications, systems or pricing. Interface with sales team for technical solutions and use energy analyzer for efficiency review. Partner with Project Engineering Manager to measure, analyze and update progress on department financial goals and recommend improvements. Coordinate Product Sales Manager and Application Engineering efforts to provide pre-sales support for all factories. Coordinate efforts to provide pre-sales, and post sales, support for all internal customers, i.e. Aftermarket Parts, Service Sales and Field Sales Process and execute orders for standard products and/or products requiring modifications not covered by published pricing. Manage the after sales process for shipping, customer and warranty issues. Effective time management skill to be able to handle multiple projects and customer service-related issues. Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills as related to projects and customer service related issues. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree (Technical, Scientific or Engineering) or equivalent training and experience 3 to 5 years of prior work experience in building automation controls field. 3 to 5 years HVAC equipment experience in respect to design, functionality, and operation CAD or MS Visio experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong MS Office programs Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills Preferred Inventory management experience Parts ordering experience Salesforce experience Experience with Tridium Niagara related to concept, design, and functionality Project Management training.
